Jaime Montagno

Jaime has been dancing since the age of 3 and competing since the age of 6. She has won numerous overall and special awards while on competition teams. She danced with Wolcott’s first Pop Warner dance team, which won first place both in Connecticut and New England regionals, as well as fifth place at the national competition in Disney World. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Franklin Pierce University with Bachelor degrees in both Elementary Education and in Dance. She was chosen to participate in numerous pieces in the annual winter and spring dance concerts while receiving several dance scholarships from freshman to senior year. In 2010, she studied abroad in France, participating in Lyon’s dance festival and attending a variety of dance and theatre performances. She was also the Vice President and President of Franklin Pierce’s dance team and performed at the College Dance Festival in Boston. Jaime received her Master’s in Teaching and Learning from Post University and worked in the Southington School District for 10 years. She has been an instructor at Nutmeg PAC for 12 years, and her dances have been recognized with choreography, overall, and special awards, as well as attending the World Dance Championships in NJ. Jaime is certified in Zumba and also teaches at Healthtrax Fitness and Wellness. She is the proud mom of her 4 year old son and 1 year old daughter!
