Founded in 1998 by Tammy Pettinicchi Gaynor, the goal at Nutmeg Performing Arts Center is to provide professional dance instruction in a supportive, positive environment. In 2016, alumni Jessica Leopizzo and her husband Chuck Leopizzo continued Tammy's vision when they became the new owners. In 2021, alumni Libby Blauvelt followed her dream of becoming owner and director of the studio that has been her second home for 23 years.
