Erin Frechette

Erin is excited to be returning to teach her love of acrobatics to Nutmeg! She started dancing at 3 years old and trained at the Hackworth School of Performing Arts for 15 years. She competed with HSPA at the regional and national levels in various forms of dance. She returned to HSPA after graduating from Elmira College with a BSN to teach gymnastics. Before moving to Bristol, she taught at three other studios in the Springfield area. Erin was involved with many theater groups in Western MA. Productions include: “The Pajama Game”, “Hello Dolly”, “Once Upon a Mattress”, and “High School Musical”. Her choreography appeared in GAP and Monson Arts Council production of “The Sound of Music”. She danced in “Pippin” with Green Room Productions and was involved with BCT’s productions of “South Pacific”, “Oklahoma”, “Godspell”, and “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”. Erin appeared at the Majestic Theater in “Cabaret” and “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”. Erin danced professionally with “The Cher Extravaganza” and appeared as Snow Queen (pointe) and the Arabian Princess (acro) for 2 years in the Nutcracker. She has appeared in 4 productions with CTC, including the CT premiere of “Priscilla Queen of the Desert” (2017), and co-choreographed CTC’s “My Fair Lady”. She also danced with Simsbury Theater Guild in “Honeymoon in Vegas”. Locally, Erin’s performing and choreography has been featured in Bristol’s OM Show. Last year, Erin passed her certification with Acrobatic Arts.
